Cake — A sentimental story withe many interesting elements — 8*/10

• Story: Interesting, because even though the main angle is not new, there are a good number of novel elements or combination of other elements that give a entertaining result. Sentimental, but with no over done drama. Nice details all the way through.
• Characters: Well built if a bit stereotypical.
• Dialogs: Realistic.
• Scenario: Very fluid.
• Actors: Excellent work on the part of Jennifer Aniston, her best performance ever. I also liked Anna Kendrick and Sam Worthington.
• Photography: Nicely done.
• Special effects: None.
