- Story: Nice little intrigue, nothing big, but adequate for the genre. A few jokes (a fraction compared to the number of jokes in other Marvel flicks), lots of solid action, simple story but good tension between the two camps, all of it very logical.
- Ending: Interesting development, but not very imaginative.
- Dialogs: Adequate.
- Characters: What we're used to, except for Spiderman... how disappointing. Worst Spidey rendition in a long time. May Parker? That's quite a departure. I like the idea, but I'm pretty sure some fans are going to howl.
- Acting: Solid, except for Spiderman. Ugh.
- Known actors: Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Elizabeth Olsen, Paul Bettany, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Don Cheadle and Jeremy Renner.
- Cameos: Marisa Tomei, Hope Davis, John Slattery, William Hurt and Stan Lee.
- Special Effects: Solid, but unfortunately, our suspension of disbelief is tried very hard when an action doesn't have a reaction. A motorcycle weighs less than a car. A man weighs less than an helicopter.
- Costumes: The usual, except for Spiderman. Lousy. Why such mistreatment of Spidey?
- Synopsis & information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3498820/
- Entertainment value: Solid.
- Who is it for? Anyone who likes super-heroes or is looking for some good action. Not for those who haven't seen other Marvel flicks.
I've decided to simply go for a score without any review. Maybe I'll start again doing full reviews someday.
