Terminator 2: Judgment Day is the superb sequel by James Cameron of the original cyberpunk movie, The Terminator.
The good. Slick polish to the production. Tons of superb action. Great liquid metal special effect. Gripping score. Riveting story that just won't let you go. Imaginative background and settings, just like the first one. Tight suspense. Attention grabbing intro with some laughs. Absolutely perfect ending. A few funny scenes, with the best line of the film being: "I need a vacation." Hilarious. Great acting on the part of all the cast.
The actors. By that time, Arnold Schwarzenegger had acquired enough polish to really give some dimension to his machine role, especially one who can learn. Linda Hamilton shed off some of her beauty to better portray an action role, and she did great being finally mature as an actress. Edward Furlong was perfect and very natural as the young John Connor even if it wasn't probably very far from who he was at the time. Robert Patrick played his role so well it took years for him to shake it off and play any other one with credibility.
The bad. A few minor logical flaws and awkward projection screen, but that's it!
The ugly. Nothing.
The result. A sci-fi masterpiece. A must for everyone.
Personal note. I went to see it without knowing any details of the plot. It was quite a surprise.
10*/10
I've decided to simply go for a score without any review. Maybe I'll start again doing full reviews someday.

The Last Boy Scout — Lots of action with a lot of swearing — 7*/10
The Last Boy Scout is an action hero movie with a dirty mouth. It's one of the first mainstream movie to use the F word in all its variations and glory multiple times in each scene.
The good. Plenty of action. Funny banter. Tough hero. Interesting intrigue.
The actors. Bruce Willis plays a dirty version of his seminal role, John McClane. Halle Berry started her rise on the big screen in this flick.
The bad. The hero does a lot of killing, yet he's not handcuffed once.
The ugly. The lackeys are walking caricatures.
The result. Nice action entertainment with a bit of intrigue. If you're a fan of Willis, I highly recommend it.

Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves — Action and adventure with the mythical figure — 8*/10
Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves is an excellent adventure, with a bit of silliness, some romance, a few laughs, and plenty action.
Kevin Costner is at his best. It might not be Morgan Freeman's greatest role, but he plays it admirably well, with a good accent, a nice straight-face funny attitude, intelligent, and full of vigor. He represent a strong black male figure anyone can admire. Alan Rickman is excellent as the evil and silly sheriff. As his despicable sidekick, Michael Wincott is just perfect. Christian Slater was good, but disappointing in his dramatic scene. The rest of the cast was on target.
Great photography, nice score, good editing, interesting story. beautiful sets, nice costumes. It has everything to make for a great evening.
Now for the little negative bits. Beyond the fact that Robin Hood is a mythical figure, the movie is in no way historically accurate, and the same can be said of the hair styles.
Don't take it seriously, and you'll enjoy it.
