X-Men: Apocalypse — A solid super-hero flick — 8*/10
- Story: Interesting backstory, well developed plot, solid high voltage action and even a few jokes.
- Characters: I don't like it when the mess around with the comic book version of a hero or villain, and I like it even less when they change or contradict already released movies. Consistency makes for a better experience. Beyond that, the characters are your basic hero/villain types.
- Acting: Good, for the most part.
- Known actors: James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne and Sophie Turner.
- Special Effects: Strong and beautiful.
