The Lego Movie - Everything is awesome, well, not exactly, but almost - 9*/10

The Lego Movie is what every Lego fan has been wishing for, if only subconsciously. The jokes are hilarious, the action is almost non-stop, the animation is just superb, and the subtle second degree satire very educating. The only real misstep is how the break in the suspension of disbelief was introduced, it's a bit awkward. However, they picked it up very well and everything meshed in back nicely. Will Ferrell is perfect for his roles.

For Lego fans, but also anyone who likes a good off the wall funny animation flick.

One Day is a true romantic comedy and it has all the the valued trimmings of the genre, with some surprises to boot. The story and the scenario are rather weak at first, it takes some time to get into the real mood of it all, but you do get to finally enjoy its substance.

Stoker is about attention to details. It plunges you in its world slowly, until it drowns or hypnotizes you. Great acting on the part of the main characters, excellent score, powerful scenes with very elaborate sets and sharp photography are its key ingredients.

Vampire Academy is a much better trailer than movie. It's barely television quality on all levels: story, scenario, dialogs, characters, acting, settings, and special effects. Buffy the Vampire Slayer season 2 is on par with this flick, never mind the following seasons.

That Awkward Moment makes a few attempt at being different, but fails with a miserable ending and feels like a weird mash up of a guy flick with girl flick. You'll have some laughs, you'll see some handsome people, however, don't hope for more.

Hesher is definitively not your average family drama. It's story has a strong sardonic undertone, some dark humor and is filled with irreverent behavior. The captivating plot constantly surprises the viewer because of the violent anarchist antics of the main character. Revulsion, frustration, anger, understanding and tears are on the menu.

Will not please everyone, but should touch almost anyone by the end. Don't expect glamour.

Bridesmaids has many very embarrassing moments and it's a bit much for me, getting me to squirm in my seat. That being said, it's really well made. Good acting and a very interesting story with novel dialogs.
