- Overall: An incredible and fantastic adventure movie by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas that has aged well.

- Style: Slightly humorous archeological adventure with bad guys, action, danger all around and a certain dose of the fantastic.
- Pacing: Excellent, you will never get bored.
- Intro: Perfect setup for the rest with some good action full of suspense.
- Story: Great details, riveting, interesting, never dull with some travel around the world.
- Ending: Excellent. Very climactic.
- Epilogue: Funny.
- Dialogs: Simple, but well put together.
- Characters: Very interesting. They have defined new movie archetypes.
- Acting: Very good, if not excellent.
- Visuals: Captivating.
- Special Effects: Getting older, but they are done well enough not to bother us much, even now.
- Camera Work: The focus of some of the minor shots is a bit off, something we wouldn't see now.
- Costumes: Perfect.
- Score: Now legendary, by the unforgettable John Williams. Absolutely perfect for the film.
