- Overall: An incredible and fantastic adventure movie by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas that has aged well.
- Who is it for? Anyone looking for adventure who doesn't mind a flick that dates a bit, but can still look good.
- Synopsis & information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082971/
- Known actors: Harrison Ford and John Rhys-Davies.
- Setting: 1936.
- Style: Slightly humorous archeological adventure with bad guys, action, danger all around and a certain dose of the fantastic.
- Pacing: Excellent, you will never get bored.
- Intro: Perfect setup for the rest with some good action full of suspense.
- Story: Great details, riveting, interesting, never dull with some travel around the world.
- Ending: Excellent. Very climactic.
- Epilogue: Funny.
- Dialogs: Simple, but well put together.
- Characters: Very interesting. They have defined new movie archetypes.
- Acting: Very good, if not excellent.
- Visuals: Captivating.
- Special Effects: Getting older, but they are done well enough not to bother us much, even now.
- Camera Work: The focus of some of the minor shots is a bit off, something we wouldn't see now.
- Costumes: Perfect.
- Score: Now legendary, by the unforgettable John Williams. Absolutely perfect for the film.
I've decided to simply go for a score without any review. Maybe I'll start again doing full reviews someday.

Indiana Jones: Raiders of the Lost Ark — Fabulous adventure film that's still good — 8*/10

Excalibur — This was once the finest movie on Arthurian legends — 6*/10
- Story: Makes you want to see more of the legends.
- Characters: Simple. The most interesting one are Merlin, Uther and Morgana.
- Dialogs: Too structured, not natural enough.
- Scenario: Well paced.
- Actors: Good performances, except for those playing Arthur and Lancelot who are unfortunately the worst of the lot. Cast members include Liam Neeson, Patrick Stewart, and Helen Mirren.
- Photography: Acceptable. Sets, decors and costumes show their age from time to time.
- Sound: Nice music and score, sometimes amazing. ADR is a bit below expectation. The ambient foley sounds are inadequate when it comes to weapons and armors.
- Special effects: Not too many of them, aged badly.
- Synopsis & information: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082348/
- Who is it for? Those who want to watch a fantasy classic. Don't expect too much, take into consideration its age.
